Gurkha TrousersDuring the Anglo-Nepalese War (1814–16) between the Gorkha Kingdom (present-day Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal) and the East India Company, the Gorkhali soldiers made an impression on the British, who called them Gurkhas. They were an elite fighting troops under contract to the East India Company in the Pindaree War of 1817, Bharatpur in 1826 and the First and Second Anglo-Sikh Wars in 1846 and 1848. They fought on the British side and became part of the British Indian Army on its formation.....

Side Adjuster vs Belt Loop
In our years as a modern tailor we have went through countless of buckles and accessories that were in all shapes and sizes. Our house adjusters were chosen due to its functionality and color. We personally prefer the side adjusters and here’s why. For those that are new to this, the side adjuster is a metal buckle that is looped with a piece of self-fabric sewn onto the waistband of a trouser and works by pulling backwards to secure the sitting of a trouser. |
