Peaky Blinders - How to dress like the Netflix Kings of Brimingham

A Netflix TV series that is still flying under the radar, would be no less than the Peaky Blinders. The show is based of a notorious criminal gang in Birmingham 1919. Like any gang, an influence of style is requisite and the show has beautifully portrayed the characters in a manner that has come to trend in modern fashion today.

Here we will break down the characters in terms of styles:

Starting off with no other than the protaganist of the show Tommy Shelby who was portrayed by the actor Cillian Murphy. The brains behind the whole gang and usually the one making decisions. 

The Newsboy Cap
The Iconic cap of the season and also the main prop for the show. The caps have razors sewn into them hence making the Birmingham gang known for it's pernicious reputation.

Shirt
In the show he is depicted wearing the classic white shirt with the English spread collar matched with a non conspicuous patterned tie.

Suit
The stylist went for a heavy grey wool/tweed suit with 6 button waistcoat for that ultimate dapper look under a notch trench coat coat.

Secondly we have the gang leader who is a figure head for the group and also the oldest.

Unlike his brother Tommy, Arthur is potrayed with a bow tie for a differenciation that he is the older brother. The small polka dot pattern gives an illusion that it matches with the tweed not making it too loud for his waistcoat.

Suit
Arthur is more sloppy with his posture, Hence his waistcoat is  curated for him to only button 5 buttons with a loose cut single pleated pants.
